The duties of the County Treasurer are to collect all taxes for real estate and mobile homes. They also handle sales of hunting and fishing licenses. We do title transfers and licenses for commercial and non-commercial vehicles, plus boat, trailer, motorcycle and snowmobile licenses. Note and cancel motor vehicle liens and order duplicate titles are also done in the office. Investment of county funds, taking of tax deeds on delinquent properties, trust accounts for payments on delinquent taxes. They also issue driver licenses, ID's and renewals for commercial licenses.
