Director of Equalization, also known as the Assessor’s Office, has detailed listings of all property in the county, including the legal descriptions. Personnel are responsible for placing a monetary value on real estate for assessment purposes. This is the base figure upon which taxes are figured. All mobile homes must be registered with this office on or before Feb. 1st each year. Bring your title with you when registering the home if it has not previously been provided.
